As a woman I have always tried to stay healthy with diet and exercise. Not to blow my own horn, but before “J” was born I ran five marathons. But, now between work, 2 kids, a husband and a lack of ambition I find myself never exercising. I find I deserve a pat on the back if I don’t bury my head in a bag of potato chips or some good milk chocolate. As I approach the 6 week post delivery date I know I must begin to exercise again. I need to show a good example to my kids. I also know that exercise makes me feel good both physically and emotionally. So, I should really go out and run again for ME. Yes, here I go. Tomorrow. First thing. In the meantime—look what I made! I still am in awe that this little, adorable, kissable boy is something I made, with the help of my husband.
